#BReal
Have you ever heard the phrase,”Get real.”
Like it didn’t matter. Like things aren’t going to matter, because no matter what you say no-one is going to believe you.
Do you believe you?
This where it is important to know that getting real on a subject like life, like what matters to you; like your relationship, will have you turn up if you tell yourself the truth about a situation instead of covering it up or masking it up.
Are you in tunnel vision? Are you getting to the point where people are talking and you can just tune them right out?
And maybe your kids, (are you hiding or ignoring them) maybe you are on your IPhone and they are tapping you on the shoulder, “Mommy I’m cold, somebody put a sweater on me.”
Thing like that go viral these days! (Direct from a viral video.)
Where we are not paying attention to the world around us.
But this is important, getting real, actually helps you determine if everyone else around you is also real. When you discover someone around you isn’t real, it’s time to let that person go. There can be toxic people in your environment.
So not only are you having possibly negative (self) talk and you are lying to yourself, about the way things should be, are, or could have changed. Or what is trying to become something (as a relationship) that it is not becoming. And or, you have also had someone in your life telling you something that isn’t truthful.
Becoming real, getting real, means you are about to shift the future opportunities for yourself.
So that when you walk into a room, and someone you admire, or someone you would actually want to meet who has accomplished something phenomenal - you stand in front of them and you can go eye to eye. You can go toe to toe. Because you truly who you say you are. And you can be very comfortable knowing that when you start a conversation, everything out of your mouth is the truth.
Everything else about yourself you have actually evaluated. You know the situations that went wrong, you’ve actually gone back to people you felt uncomfortable about making the situation again, maybe, better, right and acknowledge them. Somehow, acknowledging the wrongs and moving past them or doing them justice can change and benefit your future.
You are not going to be put in situations with people who have core strong strengths and know who they truly are, because (if you were) those people will call you on your bluff. They will seek and they will find immediately the thing that is holding you back from every aspect of success.
Getting truthful, getting real, getting to the dirt, means sitting down now (or after this chapter) and actually asking yourself, why you aren’t telling yourself the truth about the situation. And if you are trying to figure this out, do some homework. If you think someone around you is negatively influencing you learn about that, even if you have to visit
